Admissions for Graduate Program in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology

The Program in Molecular Microbiology & Immunology offers a structured inter-disciplinary program leading to the Ph.D. degree and is designed to provide training in bacteriology, virology, parasitology, and immunology. The participating inter-departmental faculty actively pursues studies of cellular oncogenes, mechanisms of biological signal transduction, bacterial and parasite genetics, molecular virology, cellular and molecular immunology and vaccine development.

Our most competative applicants usually score above a 1200 (current scoring system) on the GRE (Gradaute Record Exam) and a 3.0 or better GPA.  Once you are ready, you can complete your application online by going directly to the official UMB Graduate School Admission Application.  Our institutional code is 5848 and our program code is 0212.
